They harass and harry other predators to force them off kills and claim the prizes for themselves. While swarms are capable of downing larger animals, they are thieves and bandits as much as they are hunters. If their opponent turns to deal with one, many others are ready to dart in and inflict the bites from other angles. They use their agility and vigor to rapidly and constantly strike larger animals, giving the prey little time to react and defend itself. Unlike the pack-hunting tactics utilized by Utahraptor, Troodons operate as a swarm. While deadly on its own, the threat it poses multiplies immensely in numbers, even just a few. It’s small size and for lack of better word, “cute” appearance, often leads its victims to not suspect its lethality. ConceptTroodon, an unassumingly dangerous, seemingly harmless predator.
